ITINERARY

DAY 1
FLY TO AZERBAIJAN
We’ll need to take a flight 1 day before the starting point as we need to arrive at Baku by lunch time on the 2nd day.
 
DAY 2 (L,D)
BAKU OLD CITY
After arriving at Baku, we’ll be picked up at the airport heading to the hotel and check-in. Have lunch and relax after a long journey to then we’ll enjoy an evening at Caspian Coast while doing Baku City Night Tour and visit Heydar Aliyev Center, Baku Conference Center, Baku Boulevard: Carpet Museum, Little Venice, Flame Towers, Upland Park, Old Town and then we will have dinner and go back to the hotel and rest.
 
DAY 3 (B,L,D)
MUD VOLCANOES, GOBUSTAN, BIBI-HEYBAT MOSQUE, ATESHGAH, YANARDAG
Start the day in Baku after breakfast, we will be picked up from the hotel at 09:00 and start the tour going to Mud Volcanoes, Gobustan Museum, Gobustan Rocks, Bibi-Heybat Mosque and world’s first industrially drilled oil well.

Have lunch and after we go again to Fire Temple (Ateshgah) and Burning Mountain (Yanardag). After that, we’ll go back to Baku, have dinner, and rest.

DAY 4 (B,L,D)
GUBA CARPET FACTORY, GACHRESH, KHINALIQ, RED VILLAGE
This morning we’ll be out from the hotel and start the journey to Guba, to the north way from Baku and it will take 2,5hrs. On the way, we will visit Guba Carpet Factory, visiting the beautiful nature of Gachresh, and also we will visit the ancient living village named Khinaliq, another 1,5hrs to reach this village, but don’t blink as the view around will be so amazing.

We’ll have lunch and then go to the Red Village (Jews Settlement Area). At the end of the day, we will be transferred back to Baku for dinner and take a rest.

DAY 5 (B,L,D)
DIRIBABA MAUSOLEUM, SAMAXI JUMA MOSQUE, NOHURGOL LAKE, TUFANDAG
Check out in the morning, we will go to the west of the country, Diribaba Mausoleum, Juma Mosque in Samaxi and Nohurgol Lake in Gabala. Lunch break at 2pm-3pm and we will continue the tour to Tufandag Ski Resort (cable car). At the end of the day, we’ll be transferred to the hotel in Sheki and have dinner break.
 
DAY 6 (B,L,D)
SHEKI KHANS PALACE, SHEBEKE HOUSE, CARAVANSERAI, ALBANIAN CHURCH
First day in Sheki, we will visit The Palace of Sheki Khans, Shebeke Master House, Upper and Lower Caravanserai, Street of Sweets and Potteries and then Old Albanian Church in Caucasus in the village named Kish, dating back to the 1st century AD.

After the lunch break at 2pm-3pm, then we will continue to do Sheki sightseeing at the local bazaar during the free time. After that, we’ll go back to the hotel and have dinner at 6pm-7pm. Then we will spend the night in Sheki and rest.

DAY 7 (B,L,D)
ON THE WAY TO GEORGIA, SIGHNAGHI, BODBE MONASTERY, TBILISI
Today we will cross the border in Lodheki and we’ll touch the second country, Georgia. We will change the transportation at the border station and continue the journey to Tbilisi, Georgia.

On the way to Tbilisi, we will visit Sighnaghi, where we’ll explore the fortress from the 17th century that laid on the top of the hill. There is also a wine cellar and also Bodbe Monastery that is St. Nino grave, a woman who brought Christian to Georgia for the first time.

Arrive in Tbilisi in the evening, we’ll check in, dinner and rest.

DAY 8 (B,L,D)
TBILISI CITY TOUR, ABANOTUBANI, MTSKHETA, JVARI MONASTERY
Good Morning from Tbilisi!

In the morning, it is time to explore Tbilisi city, visiting main attractions of the city, Metekhi Plateau with the view of Old Town, Rike Park and Bridge of Peace (The glass bridge), Cable car to Narikala Fortress – the main landmark of Tbilisi, ancient fort defending city and opening breathtaking views of the capital.

Then we will also visit Abanotubani (baths district) – the oldest district of the capital where it’s history starts from, Leghvtakhevi Waterfall – beautiful nature wonder in the heart old city, Sioni Cathedral, Rezo Gabriadze Theatre, Mtatsminda Park by funicular cable car. Lunch time and departure to Mtskheta. Visiting UNESCO Heritage places Jvari Monastery. Then we will visit Svetitskhoveli Church, an Eastern Orthodox cathedral, currently the second largest church building in Georgia.

At 7pm, we will go to the hotel and overnight in Tbilisi. In the evening, visit a local restaurant to taste dishes of traditional Georgian cuisine and enjoy a folklore show.

DAY 9 (B,L,D)
ON THE WAY TO ARMENIA, GOSHAVANK MONASTERY, SEVAN LAKE, SEVAN MONASTERY, YEREVAN
Checking out, and we will start the journey and arrive in Bagratashen and cross the border Georgia-Armenia at 1pm and visit Goshavank Monastery that was built in 12th Century, and then we will continue to the biggest lake in Armenia, named Sevan Lake. We will step on the stairs and check the magnificent view from the Sevan Monastery on the hill top.

Arrive in Yerevan in the evening, check-in to the hotel, have dinner and rest.

DAY 10 (B,L,D)
ECHMIADZIN, GARNI TEMPLE, GEGHARD MONASTERY
Good Morning from Yerevan.

We will start the journey to the holy city named Echmiadzin as the first stop. After that, we will continue the tour to Garni Temple, it’s believed to be the summer palace for the Armenian King Family.

Then we will continue to Geghard Monastery, the ancient monastery that has an amazing view of rocky hills surrounding the site. We will be back to Yerevan for dinner and rest.

DAY 11 (B,L,D)
KHOR VIRAP, ARARAT, NORAVANK
Starting from Yerevan city, we will go to Khor Virap Monastery, a beautiful monastery with the almighty Mt. Ararat as the background. Then we will continue to Noravank Monastery that is located in the south of Armenia. A day full of monastery and we go back to the city to have dinner and rest.
 
DAY 12 (B,L)
YEREVAN, JOURNEY BACK
Today is the last day in Armenia, but don’t worry as we still have time to explore more about this amazing city. We will do the walking tour around Yerevan, trying the local delish and spotting so many interesting buildings in Yerevan until we have to go to the airport. Now, you need to take flight back to your origin city.
 
DAY 13
JOURNEY BACK
Most of the flights to your origin country or city will be an overnight flight.

Caucasus Trip is finished. Back home with a lot of memories, stories and experiences. What an adventure indeed! Thank you and see you on the next trip!
